Itinerary

You will be picked by a professorial driver guide from Bushtroop safaris at 8:00 am, who will brief you about the 6 days Tanzania safari to Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and Lake Manyara for a luxury wildlife safari. Then after you will be transferred to Tarangire National Park, famous for its diverse landscape with nine different vegetation zones. The park is specially known for the numerous ancient baobab trees and dwarf animals next to them. The river of the park is full of wildlife ranging from a large variety of birds to lions, leopards, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, antelopes and, of course, elephants. You enjoy lunch in the bush, after which you will still do a game drive before continuing to Tarangire Tree top Luxurious camp or Equivalent Lodge/Camp

In the morning, have breakfast and depart for Lake Manyara National Park. Enroute you will journey across the Great Rift Valley until Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Expect to encounter baboons and blue monkeys; permanent residents such as giraffes, elephants, impalas and a huge number of buffaloes. The lake is also home to a large number of hippos. The game drives along the lake provide remarkable photo opportunities of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground and the lake as well as the flamingos in the background. During this day, some extra tours are possible, including a bike tour or a boat excursion. In the afternoon, transfer to Lake Manyara Tree Lodge for dinner or Equivalent Lodge/Camp

Wake up early for breakfast, and head to Serengeti National Park. You will drive up the crater highlands, making a stopover at the Ngorongoro Crater. There then continue to the endless plains of Serengeti, home of the Great Migration and million wildebeests, hundreds of thousands of zebras and diffrent antelope kinds including the abundant impalas and Thomson’s gazelles. As for big cats and large predators, it’s the place of choice to look out for lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, with many television scenes like the famous River Crossings having been filmed in this park.

On day 4, you will spend the full day in the Serengeti National Park. You may choose to either have breakfast in the morning, then head for a full day with picnic lunch, or otherwise you can have breakfast and lunch at the lodge, with morning and evening game drive.

Wake up very early in the morning to do an early morning game drive , return to the lodge for breakfast, then proceed to Ngorongoro, ” the 8th Wonder of the Natural World”. The park is also famous for black rhinos. The crater has a river, many swamps, a soda lake with a big population of flamingos, a forest and open plains. It’s also famous for its elephants which, are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World.

In the morning, you will drive down into the crater floor for an incredible wildlife viewing in one of the most remarkable places on earth. Settle for picnic lunch near the beautiful Hippo Lake after the game drive. After lunch, we will have time for a short game drive and then drive up the crater and exit Ngorongoro Conservation Area towards Arusha. Expect to be back in Arusha at around later in the evening to catch a flight or maybe transfer to the airport or hotel
